https://soundcloud.com/theblacklodgela Kosmik is the founder and Head Spirit of The Black Lodge in LA. Raised in Ohio with the midwest electronic scene of the early to mid 90’s as his stomping grounds. He went on to be a co-founder of the infamous Foundation/Trü Skül event series in NYC from 99-2001. In this edition of Research & Development, Kosmik performs a two hour, all-vinyl beatdown from a selection of early Paul Johnson records that have been in the Black Lodge vaults since 1996 - "some of these NEVER leave our bag" according to Kosmik. A tribute to a true Chicago house pioneer who greatly blessed many of us with his presence in the midwest electronic scene of the early-mid 90's. We are eternally thankful for his great influence on us and ask his supporters to go make a donation to his fund at www.ministryoflove.co/ in order to keep his continuing vision and legacy alive.
