Ommaya steps onto SutroFM with a new monthly residency exploring the sounds and textures of the scenes and artists we’ve connected with on our journey. For the inaugural episode, we welcome Seattle-based club aficionado Shareef Ismail, selecting under the moniker BacknBodyHertz. Rooted in the city’s close-knit rave ecosystem, his mix moves through warped broken beat, low-slung dub inflections, and flashes of propulsive four-on-the-floor, psychedelic and percussive throughout. Featuring artists like LWS, Tammo Hesselink, Plebian and more.
